Rebecca's Bat Mitzvah | B'nai Torah Boca Raton, FL Photographer

From her pre-shoot to the last dance of her energetic celebration, working with this family was so much fun. Rebecca participated in the Thursday morning minyan, wore her tallit and received an aliyah for the first time, followed by some portraits in the sanctuary with the Torah. Saturday night, it was time to party! We started at just the right time for some fun and creative silhouettes, and the evening kept getting better! This family has a great group of extended family and friends who kept the dance floor poppin’ until the end!

Ryann's Bat Mitzvah | Temple Judea Miami, FL Photographer

Ryann became a Bat Mitzvah at Temple Judea in Miami. This destination bat mitzvah was originally supposed to be in Israel, but given the current situation, they pivoted, and celebrated with family and friends in their home town. She led the service with poise and a beautiful voice that almost made me jealous of the videographer! Although I can’t capture sound, I love that I can capture sights and emotions.

Ruby's Bat Mitzvah | Beth Am Jupiter Photographer

Sibling mitzvahs are always a fave of mine. It's such a joy to see the younger sister from several years earlier become a Bat Mitzvah, and the older brother becoming a young man. That's just one of the things I love about being a mitzvah photographer. In most instances, I feel like I am taking the last professional photos of them as boys. And every time I see them a few years later at their younger sibling's mitzvah, they are men! I'm not crying, you're crying!

As for Ruby, she absolutely shined from beginning to end. She confidently rocked the family formal photos, and smiled and thoroughly enjoyed her time on the bima leading her service. She didn't leave the dance floor all night long, and neither did her friends and family.

It was a pleasure celebrating with you. Mazal Tov on your Bat Mitzvah S fam!
