Caitlyn's Bat Mitzvah Pre Shoot | Bamboo and Orchid Gallery Davie, FL Photographer

As a lifestyle mitzvah and family photographer based in Davie, FL, few things bring me as much joy as watching a family grow through the years. I’ve been capturing Caitlyn’s family since her brother Grant was a newborn, and being trusted to document these milestones is an incredible honor. With the theme of her Bat Mitzvah celebration set to be "Enchanted Garden," I immediately thought of Bamboo and Orchid Gardens in Davie. Having photographed two mitzvahs there before, I knew it would be the perfect location to create something special for Caitlyn.

While I’d only been there for evening events in the garden, this daytime session revealed a hidden gem—behind the event draping lies a nursery brimming with vibrant orchids and lush greenery. The colors and textures provided a stunning backdrop, perfectly complementing the enchanted theme. During the session, my focus was on capturing Caitlyn as she truly is—authentic, radiant, and full of personality. I pride myself on documenting moments that feel real and true to each family I work with. I never put my camera down until I’ve captured that essence, and Caitlyn made it easy with her natural warmth and charm.

Whether it’s a mitzvah pre-shoot, a family portrait session, or capturing the joy of a mitzvah day, my goal is to create timeless images that reflect your family’s unique story. If you’re in Davie, FL, or the surrounding South Florida area and are planning a mitzvah or family session, let’s connect and make something magical together.

Leila's Bat Mitzvah Pre Shoot | Hollywood Beach, FL Photographer

A mitzvah pre shoot portrait session is a great opportunity to get to know your photographer, get some fun relaxed photos with your family, and get some photos of the mitzvah child to enjoy in decor or programs or for other day of celebratory photo purposes. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the evening with Leila and her family. Mom and I had chatted quite a bit before our session. She wasn’t sure if the family would be able to “pull it together”, and I shared a story about one of my best portfolio pics of all time, which was taken in a very not put together moment. I encouraged her to gather the family and show as themselves, and THEY DID. They showed up authentically in front of the camera, and it’s magic every time. Thank you for sharing your you with me! Enjoy this sneak peek of the result!
