What fun to capture the second sibling in a family and watch the Bar Mitzvah boy of a few years ago grow into a man! Zach shined throughout his day, from leading the service, with poise, grace, confidence, and humor, and was the star of the show at his celebration as well! I had a blast capturing the spirit of the service, and the joyful energy of the reception. I even got to get in the water for a different perspective and some fun underwater photography! Mazal Tov!

It was a pleasure to be able to photograph all 3 kids’ mitzvahs in this family! I absolutely loved all of the Harry Potter themed details, from walking through the wall on Platform 9 3/4, to the directional signs, to the candy in Hogsmeade, butterbeer, and Great Hall candles. And I loved how the guests really got into the theme with so many different costumes and characters! What a great celebration!

Emily celebrated her Bat Mitzvah Erev Thanksgiving (Jewish holidays start after sundown the night before, so why not Thanksgiving?)! What a beautiful way to kick off a weekend about gratitude and family than by sharing joy with family and friends. The weather was perfect for this outdoor event, and the lovely decor and theme pulled the whole thing together! This crew was all smiles from beginning to end, which is one of my favorite things to capture!

It’s harder than usual to write about this mitzvah, because really, the photos speak for themselves. There was so much joy and love and laughter. I hope I’ve done it justice and that you can feel the beautiful light energy that was present in the room this Shabbat morning as Liam was called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah.
